  • Aldila- Gamer: .370" tip: #2-butt trim to length, #3-#5-1/2" increments
  • Gamer: .335" tip: Fairway Wood- #3-0", #5-1", #7-11/2" Hybrid- #2-1", #3-11/2", #4-2"
  • CER – CER FW70: Wood shaft trimming is listed for bore-thru heads. Trim an additional 1/2" from the amount listed for blind bore heads, (maximum 1 1/2") and 1 1/4" from the amount listed for standard bore heads, (maximum 2 1/4").
  • Distance Master – Lite: Wood shaft trimming is listed for bore-thru heads. Trim an additional 1/2" from the amount listed for blind bore heads, (maximum 2") and 1 1/4" from the amount listed for standard bore heads, (maximum 2 3/4")
  • FST: Trimming instructions vailable on a supplied CD or at www.golfworks.com
  • Grafalloy – Pro Lite Fairway: Wood shaft trimming is listed for bore-thru heads. Trim an additional 1/2" from the amount listed for blind bore heads, (maximum 1") and 1 1/4" from the amount listed for standard bore heads, (maximum of 1 3/4"). Pro Custom Woods: Trim an additional 1/4" from the amount listed for blind bore heads, (maximum 3 1/2"), and an additional 1" from the amount listed for standard bore heads, (maximum 4 1/4"). Pro Launch 65 & 75: Trim an additional 1/2" from the amount listed for blind bore heads, (maximum 1 1/2") and an additional 1 1/4" from the amount listed for standard bore heads, (maximum 2 1/4").
  • Graphite Design: Wood shaft trimming is listed for thru-bore heads, trim an additional 1/2" from the amount listed in the chart for blind bore heads and an additional 1" from the amount listed in the chart for standard bore heads.
  • Harrison: For installation in thru-bore heads, use a shaft one flex softer than desired to achieve the correct flex.
  • Royal Precision: When installing a graphite wood shaft in a blind bore head, trim as listed plus the amount of blind bore.
  • Rifle Hybrid: The Rifle Hybrid steel utility shaft is available in irons .335" tip and. 370" tip. All tip cuts are based on Royal Precision’s “standard” length of 42". The difference in length between the consumer’s finished playing length and Royal Precision’s standard 42" is the tip cut. For example, a consumer’s finished playing length for their hybrid is 41" (regardless of iron or wood), so their tip cut would be 1" and then butt trim to length. Standard specs on woods and irons are D2 swing- weight and 42" length. Raw lengths are 43.5" for 5.0 and 5.5 frequencies, 43" for 6.0 frequency, 42 7/8" for 6.5, and 42.5" for 7.0.
  • True Temper: Wood shaft trimming is listed for thru-bore heads. Trim an additional 1/2" from the amount listed for blind bore heads and an additional 1 1/2" from the amount listed for standard bore heads (except Bi-Matrix-follow chart exactly). Follow chart for all irons except TT Lite XL R/S flex irons to be installed in thru-bore heads, subtract 1" from the amount listed in the chart for these. Crossfire: Trim an additional 1/4" from the amount listed for blind bore heads, (maximum 1 1/4") and an additional 1/2" from the amount listed for standard bore heads, (maximum 1 1/2").
  • UST, Penley: Follow the charts as listed with no change.
